1. In May 2006, NCsoft announced the development of Aion with a preview of the game at E3 2006.[3] A closed beta test began in late 2007. Followed by its open beta test in November 2008.

2. In Aion Online you can play as Warrior, Gladiator, Scout, Templar, Ranger, Assassin, Mage, Spiritmaster, Sorcerer, Priest, Cleric, Chanter.

3. China began its closed beta testing in December 2008, and began open beta testing on April 8, 2009.

4. Aion Online currency is called “Kinah”. You can earn them in various ways, doing quests, farming monsters or selling in-game items on Auction House.

5. There are 3 archetypes of classes in MMORPG. Tank, DPS (Damage-per-Second – ranged or melee), Healer.

6. When the open beta was started, Aion was flooded with players and NCSoft announced they had over 170,000 different players in one week.

7. Aion Online is MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game). In MMORPG, all players assume the role of a fictional character, and take control over many of that character’s actions.

8. At the end of 2008 Aion Online won the award “Best Korean Game of the Year” for its “epic scale, impressive story, and stunning graphics and sound design”.

9. In Aion Online, there are six production professions and two gathering ones. Production professions make useful items from extracted ingredients. Extracting professions gather ingredients from resources. First ones are (production): Weapon-smith, Armor-smith, Tailor, Jewelry, Alchemy, Cook.

10. NCsoft is a South Korean based online computer game company, which produced and published massively multiplayer online role-playing games including Lineage and Guild Wars.
