Welcome! Today few words about class in Aion Online. Well, there are twelve classes currently in the game. Each faction will have a slight variation in class skills once they reach the first promotion at level 10. Higher-level players can tailor their character further, with each profession offering two advanced classes, bringing the total number of character types available up to twelve.

The Warrior

Warriors excel in close-quarter combat. Strong performers in a wide range of situations, Warriors are relatively easy to master. Warriors can specialize into one of two sub-classes: Gladiators, who concentrate on dealing damage (DPS), or Templars, who combine fierce fighting with defensive chants and techniques (tanks).

Templar
Templar is typical tank class – class designed to shield their allies and take all blows on the chest. To remain effective, the Templar should stay on or close to the front firing line.

Gladiator
Gladiators can use many types of weapons, ranging from swords to halberds. He is designed as melee DPS class (damage-per-second).

The Scout

The Scout combines great agility with swift attacks. Scouts can specialize into one of 2 sub-classes: Ranger or Assassin (both subclasses are DPS).

Assassin
Assassins are masters in deft movement and the silent elimination of their target. They are designed as DPS class with special stealth ability.

Ranger
The Ranger is ranged dps, he can attack enemies from the distance and uses powerful ranged weapons. He can also set traps.

The Mage

Mages can launch devastatingly powerful magic attacks. They’ve got poor armor, but skilled player can be real pain in the… There are 2 specializations possible for mages: spiritmasters and sorcerers.

Spiritmaster
Spiritmaster can control Water, Fire, Earth, and Air Spirits. Water spirits concentrate on healing powers and ranged DPS, Earth spirits hold strong defensive abilities, Fire spirits excel in close range attacks and Wind spirits are proficient at speed and melee, magic attacks. He can also attack with his powerful long-range attacks.

Sorcerer
The Sorcerer follows the path of magic, mastering the elements of water, fire, wind, and earth. A Sorcerer’s skill set becomes very diverse as their combat ability evolves. He is designed as DPS class and he can cast powerful long-ranged spells.

The Priest

Priests can use healing and self-protection spells to excel in melee combat, and launch powerful ranged magic attacks too. There are 2 Priest specializations: Clerics and Chanters.

Cleric
Is healer and he is able to raise the dead party members.

Chanter
Healers but with emphasis on buffing abilities (he can temporarily raise statistics of their allies).
